Souper Chili Bowl
Event info
Chilis and soups are a mainstay of winter food culture. For some, a classic tradition, for others, just a way to stay warm. The Souper Chili Bowl is your opportunity to show off your own culinary skills by competing against others to deliver the most crowd-pleasing bowl of meat, vegetables, and more.
Simply sign up with Jovi Susanto after service to compete. You'll bring your soup or chili in a crockpot to keep warm during church, then anyone, even those not competing, can grab a bowl of chili after the service.
Everyone who comes to the cook off will get to vote for their three favorite bowls, and in addition, a private panel of judges will cast their votes for best soup/chili of the night.
Prizes will be awarded to top tier competitors, as well as a very special trophy commemorating their success.
This is a friendly competition, so take it as seriously as you want. Invite your friends, this is our official church super bowl party, and a great opportunity to bring new people and taste delicious foods.
